Welcome to the website for Crompton and Royton District Scouts.

Our district motto is "Bigger and Better". This means to make events and activities bigger (i.e. larger and involve more groups, sections or people) and better (i.e. more exciting, more challenging).

During 2010 we opened new sections at 3 of our Scout Groups, and are aiming to get all groups to have Beavers, Cubs & Scouts.

We are one of many districts within the county of Greater Manchester North.

Hopefully our website will grow and develop over the next many years but needs your input into it so get your leaders to send items to us.

200 Club

We are looking for members to join and boost the District 200 Club. Our target is 200 people to sign up for 12 months at a cost of £12 (£1 a month). We have over 560 members in the district, but only 33 have signed up so far, we really hope we can make our target.
Everyone entering gets a number. At the end of the month one number is drawn out and the winner gets 50% of the total number of members, the more members the larger the prize! Also the more money we raise to support the young people in our District.
